Tunisian packaged olive oil has once again distinguished itself internationally, winning 26 new medals, including 12 gold and 14 silver, at the 2024 New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC)

Tunisian olive oil also won 30 medals at the Scandinavian International Olive Oil Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, ranking first in the competition. Greece came in second, followed by Spain (3rd) and Italy (4th).

GIOOC (Gathering of the Greatest International Extra Virgin Oil Competitions) President Raouf Chouket told TAP that Tunisia’s medals at the Scandinavian competition include 24 gold medals for product quality, 2 gold medals in the Health category and 4 silver medals.
